Applied Behavior Analysis and Therapy is provided by one of our highly qualified therapists in a one-on-one setting in your home, our center, or in the community. ABA Therapy can be done at the grocery store, MyGym, or at the dentist’s office. Wherever your child has inappropriate behaviors, ACT can help!
Parent & Caregiver Training
ACT will give you and others of your choosing training that enables you to learn the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis so that you can give your child therapy even when we are not there. You are your child’s first and best teacher.
Your child’s program supervisor will meet with you, your child’s therapist, and your child as often as once per week for trouble-shooting or changing programs as your child learns and progresses.
School Observation & Consultation
Your child’s program supervisor and/or therapist will consult with classroom teachers and other professionals (speech therapists, occupational therapists, etc.) and will join you at IEP meetings in order to be a part of the multidisciplinary team.
Evaluation of Progress
Updates of the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP every six months shows you the progress your child has made. Please click here to fill out the online Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC). The ATEC should be filled out prior to beginning any new therapy or biomedical intervention and about every 2-4 weeks thereafter.
